The children’s workshop “The Kindness of People” took place

On Thursday, July 4th, the workshop “The Kindness of People” took place, focusing on the power of compassion and kindness. The purpose of the workshop was for children to reflect on issues of volunteerism and altruism, to understand the difficulties their fellow human beings face, and to realize that every action counts.

Initially, the children learned about notable figures such as Henry Dunant, Princess Diana, Harriet Tubman, and Aristotle, who, through their actions, demonstrated respect, solidarity, and empathy, becoming role models of kindness and generosity. Following this, there was a discussion about the lives and work of these individuals, including which personality impressed them the most, while they also shared thoughts on how we can incorporate kindness into our daily lives. In the end, on a large sheet of paper, they recorded all the acts of kindness that we can adopt and created slogans promoting volunteerism and mutual aid.
