The opening of the woodcarving exhibition of the Woodcarving School, held under the auspices of the Municipality of Meteora, took place successfully on Wednesday, December 10.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore the School’s exhibits, which highlighted the deep tradition and craftsmanship of the only public woodcarving school in Greece. The public’s response was particularly warm, with many expressing their admiration for the finely crafted works and the high level of skill demonstrated by the students.
The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Mr. Nikolaos Tsioukas, who emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural activities in the region.
The exhibition will remain open until January 9, during the Library’s operating hours.
