The information awareness event on gynecological cancers and breast cancer was held with great success and significant attendance. The event was co-organized by the Trikala Branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society and the “Ta Meteora” Cultural Association of Kalabaka.
Hosted by the Library on Thursday, March 26, the event aimed to promote health and raise public awareness through reliable information.
During the session, Dr. Maria Kanara, Breast Surgeon (MD, MSc, PhD, FEBS) and President of the Trikala Branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society, along with Dr. Tilemachos Karalis, Obstetrician-Gynecologist (MD, MSc, PhD(c)), highlighted the vital importance of prevention through regular medical screenings and provided valuable scientific insights.
At the conclusion of the event, the speakers addressed questions from the audience, further contributing to the awareness surrounding gynecological cancers and breast cancer.
The event concluded with a prize draw, an initiative by the Cultural Association with the generous support of local businesses.
