The annual New Year’s cake-cutting ceremony (Vasilopita) of the Kalampaka Library took place on Wednesday, January 21, in a warm and festive atmosphere.
The event was honored by the presence of representatives from the Municipality of Meteora and the Holy Metropolis. They offered their best wishes for the new year, highlighting the vital role of culture, knowledge, and intellectual development within the local community.
The event was filled with joy and optimism, with wishes focusing on a creative, healthy, and productive year for the Library and its patrons. The “lucky coin” of the Vasilopita was found by a young friend of the Library, Alexandros, providing a particularly delightful highlight to the gathering.
