On Thursday, March 20th, the Library welcomed Mr. Athanasios Tsagrasoulis, who narrated events and information about the rural uprising of Trikala in the year 1925, one of the most important farmers’ protest in Thessaly. Mr. Tsagrasoulis gave his own testimony about the agricultural problems experienced by the inhabitants of that period as well as about the actions that took place, in order to assert their rights.
Another oral testimony was added to the Library’s website to be used by researchers and people interested in the history of our region. We warmly thank Mr. Athanasios Tsagrasoulis and Mr. Kostas Liolios for their selfless contribution and response to the program.
