On Thursday, May 23, the meeting of the Adult Book Club took place, focusing on the books by the well-known journalist Maria Panagopoulou. Maria Panagopoulou was born and raised in Piraeus. She studied Sociology at Panteion University and has worked in radio, television, magazines, and newspapers. Today, she is active in the fields of Public Relations and Communications, writes articles, and maintains her personal blog, thisimarias.com.
Ms. Panagopoulou’s books captivated the interest of the members, as they are based on true stories, featuring rich plots, twists, and interesting characters. The members exchanged views and concerns and discussed the social extremes reflected in the books’ narratives.
