As part of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign, the workshop titled “The Book That I Am” took place today, a creative activity that invited children to discover and tell their own personal story.
The young participants were introduced to the concept of autobiography and discovered that a person’s story is made up not only of significant events, but also of thoughts, feelings, memories, and small moments of everyday life.
Using their own experiences as a starting point, the children shared moments and events that hold a special place in their lives. Afterwards, they created their own book of life, capturing on its pages elements that compose their unique identity.
The activity gave the children the opportunity to express themselves freely, get to know themselves better, and realize that every life holds a special story worth telling.
