On Thursday, August 3, the children’s painting workshop “And the walls have a voice!” was held in the village of Panagia in the Municipality of Meteora of the Reading and Creativity Summer Camp 2023.
The purpose of the workshop was to introduce the children to the art of street art, to strengthen their imagination and creativity and to inspire slogans that express them. Initially, excerpts were read from the books “The Birthday” by Zor Sari and “Petro’s Great Walk” by Alki Zei, in which the children, flipping through their pages, identified slogans referring to the era of the dictatorship and 1940 respectively. Then they split into groups and drew their own slogans on measuring paper! Brushes, paints and sprays were used for our little friends to express their own feelings! The result; “Summer in Panagia”: mountains, coolness and ice creams!
