On the morning of Tuesday 17 May we had the pleasure of hosting the children of the 2nd Kindergarten of Kalambaka at the Library. Our little friends were first shown around the children’s section and familiarized with the Library. Then, they were introduced to the educational robotics packages “Coding Express” and “mTiny” which are addressed to preschool children and aim to develop early programming skills in young students.
The children were divided into groups, collaborated with each other in a series of programming games, designed solutions, developed their logical thinking, while enhancing their innate curiosity for discovery and learning.
These two programs combine physical play with technology and achieve an early introduction to STEM for students.
We thank our little ones and teachers for their partnership and look forward to seeing them again soon!
