On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 15, students of the Kalambaka Senior High School, accompanied by their teacher Mr. Derekenaris Grigoris, were in the village of Vlachava to come in contact with 3D scanning technology, in collaboration with the Library of the French Institute for celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
With the help of the Library staff, the students used the 3D scanner to digitally display the bust of Papathimios Vlachavas, and then they will participate in the processing of the digital file and its 3D printing through the 3D printer available by the Library.
The purpose of the above program is to familiarize students with advanced technology and the participation of the Library in the educational process.
