On the afternoon of Thursday, August 6, 2020, the children’s workshop “A tiny seed travels…” took place in the village of Oxyneia.
Inspired by Eric Carle’s book “The Tiny Seed”, the children learned about the change of seasons and what the characteristics of each season mean for the growth of plants. Then, through the theatrical play “The Awakening of the Seed”, the children tried to feel the same small seeds that take root, are left in the air and grow. Then followed a game of questions about the environment, through which children gain knowledge about the world around them.
Finally, our little friends had the opportunity to plant their own seeds, which will make them feel proud, since through their own care they will see how a new plant is born and grows.
