On the afternoon of Thursday, October 8, the second meeting of the members of the Adult Reading Club took place. The members had the opportunity and the pleasure to talk on the phone with the beloved writer Alkyoni Papadaki and to express thoughts and feelings about the author’s work. Mrs. Papadaki, or Alkyoni, as she asked the members to call her, was very warm, friendly and answered the members’ questions honestly. The biographical elements that are present in almost all of her books, aroused the interest of the readers, while her undying optimism and hope caused admiration.
We would like to thank Mrs. Papadaki who gladly accepted our invitation, as well as Dioptra publications for their valuable help.
At the next meeting, which will take place on Thursday, November 5 at 6:30 pm, reference will be made to the work and style of the author Maro Vamvounaki.
