The annual New Year’s cake-cutting tradition continued at the Library on Thursday 17 January at 7:00 pm
After Mrs. Pepi Katsiatani thanked all those who attended, the Library’s founder Mrs. Katerina Dimoula and the Mayor of Meteora Municipality Mr. Sinanis cut the cake.
Also present were Minister of Culture Ms. Lila Badeka, the Mayor Candidate of Meteora Mr. Thodoris Alekos, the farmers participating in the training program of the American Farm School and their teachers as well as members of KAPI (Seniors’ Organization).
The President of the Municipal Council of Trikala, Michalis Lappas, won the award, who chose to donate it to a young member of the Library.
