Young and old gathered this evening at the Library to be a part of the book presentation of “The Golden Pit” by Panagiotis Dimitropoulos. Local authors Irene Makri-Adamou and Zeses Papanioannou were also present.
Those who attended listened to excerpts of the book and were informed about healthy eating from both the author and nutritionist Paulina Yiannioti, with whom we connected live via Skype. Afterwards, the children went on a scavenger hunt for pictures of healthy and unhealthy food, and played games.
In the end, everyone went out to the front yard where fruit sticks were expecting them.
