Today the 3rd grade students of the 1st Kalambaka Elementary School had the opportunity to be introduced to the world of robotics and programming with a Christmas-themed construction with the Lego WeDo 2.0 educational package. The children had fun building Santa’s sleigh pulled by the world’s sweetest reindeer, Rudolph!
The children were divided into groups, cooperated with each other, planned movements and programmed their robot to carry out specific commands. The children were delighted with the result, while also having an early introduction to STEM.
