The Library participates in the events of the Committee “Greece 2021” for the celebration of the 200th anniversary since the Greek Revolution, with the educational activity entitled “Wood Carved Memories of 1821”. This is a collaborative project between the Kalambaka Library and the Wood Carving School of Kalambaka of ELGO DIMITRA, which was implemented under the auspices of the Committee “Greece 2021” and Sponsor the company Eren Hellas. The purpose of the project is to highlight the intangible cultural heritage of wood carving, as well as to ensure the sustainability of the art through the use of 3D imaging technologies. In addition, the aim of the project is to familiarize the student community with advanced digital technology, research and innovation through interactive educational workshops.
