Our Library is in position of providing free all the following digital services:
• Membership Card Digital Services
• In person or/and remote electronic borrowing
• Access to the Library computers
• Access to elecronic system of prints/photocopies
• Wireess Internet access, with rules which have been implemented at a level of local network of the library and are aimed at the safety of the systems and the users, and which are subject to constant control and updates by the library personnel
• Educational applications for interactive media (boards, screens, tables) for:
• children of pre-school age
• all Primary School grades (Interlearn)
• children with dyslexia
• Teleconferences (Skype e.t.c.) with the use of state-of-the-art sound and image technologies
• Office Electronic Applications on all the computers of the Library
• Electronic catalogue (OPAC) of public access to all the titles and the collectons of the Library (www.opac.gr).
• Official Website (www.kalambakalibrary.org) which includes:
• Actions Calendar for the visitors’ information on all the actions of the Library
• Electronic Reservation Forms Of Material, Areas, Equipement, Guided Tours
• Reproduction & recording of digital material (music, films, documentaries, educational material) through high technology audiovisual media(sound/microphone systems, high definition projections, interactive media, computers e.t.c.), harmonised with the domestic and international legislation on intellectual property.
• Electronic Games with the possibility of establishment of Internet groups through the xBOXOneconsoleas well as the computers of the Library for the users’ entertainment at a high definition video projector.
