The class teacher cites the experience he and his students gained:
“On Friday, February 19, Class E1 visited the Library to tour its premises accompanied by the class teacher. The students were given a tour of the Library by the informed and always willing to serve and inform its public staff for one hour.
Those students who did not have one, obtained the necessary membership card and learned useful information about its premises, the activities that take place in it and its opening hours. Also, all the necessary appointments were made until the Easter holidays, so that all the actions of the Flexible Zone Program implemented in our classroom entitled “Traveling I get to know Greece“ can be implemented.
We believe that these actions will benefit our students, as they will come into contact with different learning tools than they knew so far and will acquire a more complete way of thinking. Finally, we believe that in this way the school is not a one–sided and one–dimensional cell of society, but “opens its gates“ seeking the cooperation and participation of all citizens within it.
Warm congratulations to all those who were the occasion and the trigger for the implementation of such a great project for the city of Kalambaka, but also to its tireless and cooperative staff for the way they “take advantage“ of the useful learning tool on behalf of all their fellow citizens.”
