On Tuesday 14/01/2020, the Library in collaboration with the Vocational High School (EPAL) of Kalambaka, the beginning of the meetings of the “Information Literacy” series with the students of the First Lyceum took place as part of the course “Research Work/Project”.
The concept of Information Literacy refers to the training of students in the use of information sources and the learning of the use of various techniques and skills of a wide variety of information tools as well as primary sources in order to formulate “information solutions” to their problems.
Through Information Literacy, students can learn to search for the information they need in the right way, thus improving their decision-making in relation to information and will also gain the ability to satisfy their information needs more effectively and efficiently. We would like to thank professors Mrs. Angeli Vicky and Mrs. Tsourlis Katerina for their cooperation.
