On the morning of Tuesday, June 7th, we welcomed the 3rd and 4th grade-students of the 4th Kalambaka Elementary School to the Library. Initially, the students were informed about the services of the Library, the policies it follows and the workshops that take place throughout the year.
Afterwards, they visited the exhibition “Wood Carving Remembers in 1821“, where they admired the wood–carved portraits of the students of the School of Wood Carving, while at the same time they were informed about the 3D scanning and printing technology available to the Library. Then, they made an early introduction to the world of Robotics with the WeDo 2.0 educational package, which offers opportunities for development and development of skills, enhancing students’ self–confidence through playful experiential activities. The children built and programmed their own robots, testing a multitude of commands and offering solutions to theoretical problems.
We thank the teachers and students for their cooperation.
