The Library invites all children to come wearing their carnival costumes with a mood for dancing and fun. Initially, we will talk about the customs of Carnival and Clean Monday, and then we will make masks.

Next, there will be a dance, closely associated with the color and spirit of Carnival, the “gaitanaki”! Our little friends will intertwine with ribbons in a circular dance of love, symbolizing the circle of life, from life to death, from sorrow to joy, from winter to spring, and vice versa.

Then, it’s time for the familiar pinatas! A favorite game of both young and old, pinatas offer fun as everyone eagerly awaits the surprises they hold!
