Educational Visit: 30th Primary School of Trikala at the Library

The students of the 30th Primary School of Trikala are preparing for a special educational excursion to the Library.

The purpose of our visit is for the children to discover the “inner workings” of the magical world of books and understand how a modern library is organized. Specifically, the students will have the opportunity to:

• Understand Library Operations: Learn how books are classified, how the lending system works, and how a library remains vibrant in the digital age.

• Discover the Librarian Profession: The children will talk with the library staff, learn about the daily challenges of the job, and the important role of the librarian as a “guide” to the world of information.

• Cultivate a Love for Reading: Through their interaction with the library spaces, students are encouraged to develop a closer relationship with reading and research.

This hands-on experience offers our students a unique opportunity to realize that a library is not just a place with shelves, but a living organism of knowledge and creativity.
