Educational and cultural activities are offered in the Library, the communities comprising Meteora Municipality, as well as at a national and international level.
The Library continues its program “Educational Robotics in Remote Villages of the Municipality of Meteora” with remote meetings and a new collaboration with Diava Elementary School.
The educational Robotics kit SPIKE Prime combines the famous LEGO bricks, a powerful programmable ‘brain’ with multiple ports, a programming language based on Scratch, and STEAM lessons (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) that will enhance students’ self-confidence and levels of critical thinking.
The lessons combine construction and programming to facilitate students’ introduction to data collection and analysis and problem-solving with real-world applications.
Meetings will be held weekly every Friday, starting on March 16, 2024.
