The library hosts the Museum Kit from the Tactual Museum to facilitate educational activities

The Library is hosting the Museum Kit from the Museum of Touch, part of the Lighthouse for the Blind, to carry out educational activities. The Museum of Touch, unique in Greece and one of only five worldwide, performs a high-level social, cultural, and educational role through its programs. It ensures, above all, equal access for visually impaired individuals to the wealth of our cultural heritage, while also informing and raising awareness within the broader community about blindness, promoting best practices for a genuinely inclusive society.

The Museum Kit is a unique, multidisciplinary educational tool, with rich, specially selected informational and visual materials. It is a specially designed and equipped “educational suitcase” that enables experiential engagement for students and educators with the concept of blindness.
