The launch of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign will take place on Tuesday, June 16th, at 12:00 p.m., featuring a special introductory activity dedicated to this year’s theme.

The first workshop, titled “The Book is Just the Beginning,” invites children to discover the magical world of books and embark on a creative journey filled with imagination, knowledge, and self-expression.

Workshop Objectives: Children will:

  • Discover the fundamental parts of a book, such as the front cover, back cover, and spine, as well as the information they contain.

  • Understand the book creation process and the roles of the people involved, including the author, illustrator, and publisher.

  • Cultivate their imagination and creativity by crafting and illustrating their own mini-book.

  • Develop skills in cooperation, expression, and active participation through role-playing and group activities.

The workshop aims to show children that a book is not just something to read, but the starting point for new ideas, stories, and creative experiences.
