SC2026: The Book as a Source of Knowledge

On Monday, June 29 at 12:00 p.m., the KE workshop entitled “The Book – A Source of Knowledge” will take place, a special activity designed to introduce children to the fascinating world of informational books.

Every book opens the door to a different world. Some tell exciting stories, others take readers on journeys through colorful illustrations, while others offer knowledge about nature, science, technology, and humanity. These are informational books—valuable resources that nurture curiosity and encourage a spirit of discovery.

Workshop objectives:

• to introduce children to a category of books that provides age-appropriate scientific knowledge and information;
• to familiarize them with specialized topics that spark interest and can serve as a starting point for thought and discussion;
• to encourage creative expression and allow their imagination to flourish.
