Museum Touch Kit Visit with the Special and 3rd Primary School of Kalambaka

On Wednesday, November 27, a group of 20 students (5 from the Special School and 15 from the 3rd Primary School of Kalambaka) will visit the library to participate in an educational activity featuring the Museum Touch Kit from the Lighthouse for the Blind.

This event is organized in preparation for International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3. The activity aims to inform and sensitize students about blindness, using a specially designed tactile museum kit. The key objectives are:

• Developing empathy.
• Understanding the challenges faced by individuals with visual impairments.
• Becoming familiar with technologies and tools that assist blind individuals in their daily lives.
