Children’s movie screening: “Noah’s Ark”

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the summer cinema at the Library will screen the animated children’s movie “Noah’s Ark,” written and directed by Sergio Machado.

Plot:

Vini and Tom are two bohemian mice who, after accidentally witnessing the moment when God assigns Noah the task of hosting and saving only one pair of each species in his Ark, find a creative way to join the adventure. Amid the chaos of the flood and with the protagonists also dealing with the whims of a greedy lion, the movie proves to be an entertaining political allegory where music and poetry stand in contrast to the brutality and tyranny of the stronger animals.
