In the framework of its innovative activities for youth, the Kalampaka Library joins forces with the SAEK of the Trikala Regional Unit – Woodcarving School of Kalampaka to organize the “3D Printing Lab.” This modern three-dimensional printing workshop is designed exclusively for teenagers aged 14 to 17, providing a space where cutting-edge technology meets creativity and tradition.
The workshop will run from June 18 to July 16, 2026, offering participants the opportunity to learn the fundamental principles of 3D modeling and printing. Additionally, they will discover firsthand how digital technologies can be combined with traditional arts, such as woodcarving. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., in a specially designed environment that promotes experiential learning and collaboration.
Through this initiative, teenagers will develop valuable digital skills, cultivate critical thinking, and watch their ideas take shape in three dimensions. Due to the hands-on nature of the workshop, available seats are limited, and early registration is highly recommended.
