“Brief Introduction to the History of Thessaly from the 11th Century to the 16th.” : Kostas Spanos’ Speech

On Thursday, September 28, at 6:00 p.m. the Library will host Mr. Kostas Spanos, the well-known editor of the historical magazine Thessaliko Imerologio [The Diary of Thessaly]. Mr. Spanos will give a speech on “Brief introduction to the History of Thessaly from the 11th century to the 16th.”

Biography:

Kostas Spanos is a historical researcher and editor of the historical magazine Thessaliko Imerologio with 84 multi-page volumes so far. In 2000, the Academy of Athens awarded him for his many years of involvement with the History of Thessaly and the publication of the Thessaliko Imerologio. In addition, he was awarded by the Region of Thessaly, the Metropolis of Elassona, the Municipalities of Tyrnavos, Elassona, Deskatis and many Associations. So far he has published 667 articles and studies and has published 16 of his works.
