Dance Worlds: Workshop

Where can our imagination lead? How can we travel, feel, and create new experiences with our bodies? The workshop Dance Worlds is based on Alan Lightman’s book, Einstein’s Dreams, about the time concept. This book contains 30 short imaginary Einstein’s dreams. We will try to imagine these worlds and with our bodies define new times, places, speeds, levels and directions. After all, what is time? Let’s set the time that suits each of us! Some contain distorted traces of his discoveries. Each dream presents a different world. People live for a day, live forever, or prepare for the end of the world, fall into the past, get caught up in time, know the details of their future in advance, or have no future in mind at all. Time in turn accelerates, slows down, flows properly, reverses, freezes, splits in several straight or curved directions.

Mrs. Sonia Dova will introduce the children to an experiential, dance workshop. The course is aimed at teenagers.
