Creative Writing Workshop

The Athenian High School students, who attend in Trikala, will hold a creative writing workshop at the Library, accompanied by their teachers. Specifically, the author and teacher, Dionisis Leimonis, on the occasion of the publication of his new book Dimiourgiki Grafi stin Taxi [Creative Writing in the Class], will open the door for students to walk down the creative writing path so that they become aware of technical issues and discover their voice.

Workshop structure:  

Theory: What is creative writing? What is the spatiotemporal framework of a writing workshop? How can it be applied in the classroom? What is “wrong” and “correct” in the students’ texts? What are the benefits of a writing workshop?

Training: Practice in literary texts from the High School textbooks, use of texts in the group, grading of writings, comments-discussion, anwers of any questions.
