“Everything I Need to Know about Coronavirus” – Online Speech by Infectious Diseases Dr. Drossos Karageorgopoulos

Kalambaka Library will hold a teleconference on Tuesday, April 14, at 4:00 pm with the well-known Dr. Drossos Karageorgopoulos, since it understands the public needs for valid information and immediate response to possible concerns about Covid-19.

Mr. Karageorgopoulos is a Pathologist – Infectious Diseases Specialist, Public Health Specialist, Curator at the 4th University Clinic at the Attikon General Hospital – Medical School, University of Athens which responds to cases of Covid-19. He studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens and he received his PhD with honors. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and has worked as a Consultant Director at the Royal Free Hospital in London, one of two in London with HLIU for Infectious Diseases. (HCID) Mr. Karageorgopoulos will talk about the appearance of Covid and the development of the disease in a pandemic by the World Health Organization, which an unprecedented situation in the global community. It will address the ways in which we can protect ourselves, as everyone’s eyes are on the treatment and non-spread of the disease.
