Face Painting and Christmas Story Reading

The Library invites its young friends on Tuesday, December 17, at 6:00 p.m., to join a fun and colorful event to enjoy a beloved form of art: face painting. We’ll decorate little faces with imaginative designs, transforming them into something magical.

The reading of a Christmas story will add to the festive atmosphere. The new book by educator and author Marios Mazaris, titled The Key to Christmas, has been chosen for this occasion.

“Is the old year passing, or maybe… is it too much time that’s passing? What happens in a small town on Christmas Eve when the big clock stops? Will time stop along with it, or must life continue its preparations for the big celebration? And what is this celebration really—just the turning of the minute hand, or something more?”
