Movie Screening: Cloudy Sunday

The Library in cooperation with the Municipality of Meteora organizes free summer movie screenings. The opening movie will be Greek film Cloudy Sunday in the backyard of the Library.

A few words about the film:

We are in Thessaloniki during the German Occupation. George is a carpenter, a waiter in the shop of Vassilis Tsitsanis, and a resist. Estrada sings in the Jewish choir of the city and lives with her parents and her brother, Socialist Alberto. The two of them know because George is a friend of Alberto and they meet in the basement of Giorgos’ carpentry, which works for resistance. So their love begins slowly.
