Internationally Renowned Professor John P.A. Ioannidis at the Library

Library is pleased to host Professor John P.A. Ioannidis on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 18:30, for a special event dedicated to his work and literary presence.

John P.A. Ioannidis is an internationally recognized professor at Stanford University, with major contributions to epidemiology and clinical research. At the same time, he is considered a pioneer in meta-research, the interdisciplinary field that studies scientific research itself with the aim of improving its reliability, quality, and effectiveness.

As part of the event, the professor will read excerpts from his works and engage with the audience in an open dialogue about writing, the core ideas running through his work, and the interplay between science, knowledge, and society.
