The Library participates in the online educational drama program organized by the Xenia Kalogeropoulou Theatre Workshop, entitled Eliza Travels with Children from all over Greece.

The play deals with a different girl who charters a ship  together with her friends and a parrot to find her lover. The play, through the narration of a fascinating adventure, deals with issues such as physical distance and emotional closeness, subverts gender stereotypes, social roles, highlights companionship, friendship, inner strength and hope. At the end of the program, in a short video, Ms. Xenia Kalogeropoulou will share with the children her own thoughts and quests that led her to write Eliza.

The program will take place on Thursday, October 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library with drama teachers and educators who will connect via Zoom, and is aimed at primary and secondary education children. It lasts 2 hours and there will be first come, first served basis, since the maximum number of participants will be only 20.
