On Monday 5 September, the Library will be open to the public from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. At 8:00 p.m. there will be a screening of the children’s movie “Raya and the Last Dragon,” a wonderful Disney adventure that won the hearts of young and old alike, in the Library’s courtyard! The plot takes place in the fictional kingdom of Kumandra, a world very much like our own, divided by fear and hatred, in which bitterness, despair and malice towards one’s fellow man prevail. The film is about restoring faith in humanity, even when all seems lost, hope and kindness, which is something we all need in our lives today more than perhaps ever before.
Summary:
Centuries ago, in the fictional kingdom of Cumandra, dragons and humans lived in harmony. Under the threat of the malevolent Drunn demons, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Five hundred years later, the demons have reappeared and Raya, a young and brave warrior, is determined to find the last dragon who will save them once and for all.
Come join the adventures of the young and dynamic warrior Raya as she adventures through beautiful landscapes and vivid, almost human, characters.
