We Stay at Home – We Connect With the Library!
The Kalambaka Library successfully continues the online meetings that aim to entertain and definitely promote communication between people during this difficult period of isolation. On Friday, April 24, at 7:00 pm, we will have the pleasure of discussing with the well-known novelist, Mr. Christos Chomenidis, who will talk about his worksacc. Mr. Chomenidis is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens and has written articles in dozens of newspapers and magazines. His first novel, To sofo pedi [The Wise Child], was critically acclaimed. His books have been translated into French, English, Spanish, Turkish and other languages and have received awards and distinctions. The novel Niki, which is dedicated to the his mother, is the chronicle of modern Greek history, has been honored with the Greek Novel of the Year award at the Public Bookstores and the Novel Award of the magazine Anagnostis. His book The Phoenix has also won the Greek Novel of the Year award for 2019 at Public bookstores. We invite book lovers to engage in a constructive discussion with one of the leading exponents of historical memory.
