Kalambaka Library in collaboration with the Hellenic Center for Safer Internet organizes on Thursday, May 28 at 17:00 p.m. a teleconference on the safe use of the internet during the pandemic.

The Hellenic Center for Safe Internet operates under the auspices of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and more specifically of the Institute of Computer Science. What should we and our children do during the pandemic when we use the internet as a tool for work, learning, entertainment, information and communication? How do we protect ourselves from fake news at this critical time? How much time is too much in front of the screen for our kids? Is there a way to get our kids to spend quality time on the internet? These are just some of the questions that come up regarding the fascinating and at the same time dangerous world of internet.

Speakers of the teleconference will be Ms. Katerina Psaroudaki, Head of Communication of the Hellenic Center for Safe Internet and Ms. Evangelia Daskalaki, Head of Research and Development of Programs of the Hellenic Center for Safe Internet. The teleconference is aimed at parents and teachers, but also at the general public.

Anyone interested in attending can register in the following form no later than Sunday, May 24, 2020:
