Get to Know the Library

On Tuesday 06/10/2015 the all-day event of the Library entitled Getting to Know the Library was successfully held. People who responded to the Library’s call had the opportunity to meet the team, tour its facilities and learn about the services it offers. It was very pleasing that people actively participated in the discussions with the Library’s scientific collaborators during their presentations. A large part of the event concerned the children, who played and had fun participating in various activities such as face painting, watching educational videos, reading a fairy tale, creating bookmarks, presenting educational programs through the smart table and interactive whiteboard, presenting the Library’s catalog, etc. It is worth noting that the event started at 12.30 p.m. and ended at 20.00 p.m. while it participated with its presence in the reception of the cyclist Elpidophoros Chrysovergis that took place in the Town Hall Square.
