On the morning of Tuesday, November 2, we had the pleasure to host in the Library the Trikala Night High School that prepares the Erasmus + program “Literature as a framework for SEL”, with partners from Romania, Italy, Portugal and Spain. Teachers and students were guided on all three levels of the Library, informed about the programs and workshops that take place at its premises, as well as the services it offers to the public.
Then, the action entitled “Bibliotherapy vs Bullying” took place on the problem of bullying in school, ways to deal with and prevent aggression. Books on understanding the phenomenon and literary works are allies in eradicating violence in the classroom. So, with the help of books on bullying, the students tried through the action to give answers, such as what it is and how bullying is caused, how we can manage anger and what effects it has on the victims and the perpetrator.
The visitors said they were excited by the beautiful space of the Library and the imposing view of Meteora.
