The Library at Chrysomelia

On Friday, July 15th, the Library visited the village of Chrysomelia, where it held the workshop Fluffy Routes“, continuing the activities of the Summer Campaign in remote villages of the Municipality of Meteora.
In the central square of the village, the children gathered and watched a short film about our beloved fourlegged friends. The children then discussed their pets, and read books on the subject of stray animals. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among children about the issue of stray animals, to understand the obligations of humans towards companion animals and to cultivate skills in order to raise awareness in the local community for the protection of stray animals.
The response of the participants was immediate and at the end of the action our little friends created improvised houses out of boxes, which they placed in various parts of the square for all the stray fourlegged friends of the village.
We thank everyone who participated in the action and for the warm hospitality!
