On Thursday, July 11, the Library travelled at St. Cosmas Summer Camp in Kakoplevri where the Workshop “If the Stars Could and Tell Us Their Story” was held.
At first, the children listened to the book “How to Catch a Star,” as well as the history of the most important constellations, such as Big and Little Dipper, Kassiopi and Orion.
Then our little friends let their imagination run wild by designing their own constellations and paper telescopes.
The activity was completed by observing the stars and the moon with the Library’s telescope.
We are grateful to the camp management team for the warm hospitality!
