On the morning of Friday, September 6, the 2019 Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign in collaboration with the National Library entitled “To Imagine …” ended with the activity “Being a Wizard!”
The librarians, dressed in robes and holding wands, offered the children an imaginary journey into the magical world of Harry Potter. After being divided into four groups and placed in the appropriate Hogwarts Houses, the children completed 8 activities including cryptos, hidden objects, knowledge questions, fabulous games, and dragons. Revenclaw’s dorm crowned the winner with 117 points.
We read book excerpts and had scenes from the films screened. The wizards-in-training learned about the importance of teamwork, stimulating their imagination.
We thank the children and parents for their participation in this year’s Summer Campaign. We renew our appointment for the summer of 2020!
