The Library invites Primary Schools of the Municipality of Meteora to participate in a Robotics workshop with the educational package WeDo 2.0, which is designed for primary school classes (5th and 6th) and aims to improve the skills of children in the fields of natural sciences and engineering. Through exploratory learning, children develop their own ideas and theories and bring science to life through programming.
As the Library has the necessary infrastructure to support distance education, some of the WeDo 2.0 packages in its possession will be made available to schools to familiarize students with robotics and new technologies.
The course lasts eight weeks.
