A meeting was held at the Library on Sunday morning, marking the five years since its inception.
The event was attended by: Library President Ms. Katerina-Diana Demoulas-Merriam and Vice President Apostolos Eliopoulos.
We were honored by the presence of: the Mayor of Meteora Mr. Thodoris Alekos, the Vice Mayor of Culture Mr. George Thomos, the Secretary General of the Meteora Municipality Vassilis Kyriakoulis, the Maximie and Eusebia nuns from the Holy Monastery of Rousanou, Director of the Historical and Paleographic Archive of MIET, Mr. Agamemnonas Tselikas with his associate, Mrs. Christina Kosiva and representatives from the Laskarides Foundation and the American Farm School of Thessaloniki.
The event commenced with a welcome from the Director of the Library Mrs. Theopi Katsiamani followed by a short greeting by Ms. Demoula, who awarded IT Professor Gregory Derekenaris a plaque for his valuable contribution and assistance to the Library.
