The Kalambaka Library and the Trikala Police Department continue for another year the successful program “We Make the Distance Shorter”. The program concerns the lending of books to remote schools of the Municipality of Meteora with the aim of promoting the love of reading, strengthening learning and critical thinking. It is a common pursuit to create a positive environment of continuous learning, promoting collective effort and the power of cooperation as a model of operation in the context of lifelong education. The schools participating in the program are the Primary School of Panagia, Asprokklisia, Chrysomilia, Ambelia, Oxyneia and Agiofilo.
