In a joyful atmosphere, the opening of the anniversary exhibition “Wood Carved Memories of 1821” took place on Wednesday, June 1st at the Library’s event hall. The project was implemented in collaboration with the Kalambaka Woodcarving School under the auspices of the “Greece 2021” Committee and the company Eren Hellas as the Action Sponsor.
The event was addressed by the President of KDK and donor of the Library, Mrs. Katerina Demoulas and the Director of the Woodcarving School, Mr. Sotirios Zambouras, who guided the guests through the exhibition.
The event was blessed on behalf of His Eminence Metropolitan Theoklotos by Fr. Evangelos Giouzelis, Protopresbyter Chaplain of the Metropolitan Church of Kalambaka.
At the request of the public, the exhibition will be open until June 16.
