Members of the Adult Βοοκ Club had their regular monthly meeting on the afternoon of Thursday, May 4th. The theme of the meeting was the work of the acclaimed journalist and author Menios Sakellaropoulos. Members decided to read his books and study his writing style. They were impressed by the rich thematic content of his works, the true stories hidden behind them that evoke strong emotions, the liveliness of the narration, and the rich language. They exchanged views, discussed the social issues addressed in his books, and the familiarity they felt when they met him in person, as Mr. Sakellaropoulos has visited the library many times.
The next meeting of the Reading Club will take place on Thursday, May 18th at 6:30 p.m.
